whites interest in hip-hop community

I want to know how the majority of african americans feel about the way white kids like myself enjoy listening to rap and dressing, talking, and acting like the rappers I have no interest in yelling ‘westside!’ or ‘thug life!’ but I just feel akward wearing ‘white’ clothes and listening to rap. Are they offended by it?
