wm ThunderhawkMemberThe original inhabitants of the Western Hemisphere have always utilized natural plants for their medicinal and spiritual uses. In my culture, the Lakota, there is no mention of use of intoxicating plants or herbs with which to get ‘high’ on. Modern day alcohol beverages were introduced during the Colonial era, using whiskey as inducement to have native ‘leaders’ sign treaties to land and other resources.
