HenrikeParticipantOn several message boards i’ve seen posters use ‘n-word’ instead of ‘nigger’. Now, I can imagine why people would be offended if you called someone a nigger, but why ‘bleep out’ the word when talking about it? For example, one might say ‘X used the n-word’ instead of ‘X called him a nigger’. Why do people do this? Is the word so bad that you can’t even write it when you are NOT calling someone a nigger?
