In recent cureent events we’ve seen the Iraqi prison abuse photos and there has been the video of the American contractor who was beheaded. In the prisoner photos and the decapitation video the victims are treated like animals, less than human. The iraqis who decapitated that man are evil, but arent the participants in the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal just as evil?? I, as an american, feel that those photographs of Iraqi civilians being forced to preform homosexual acts and being dominated by a woman makes a total mockery of the religious culture and lifestyle of people in that region. Don’t we as Americans hold ourselves to a higher standard than the rest of the world? Have we lowered our standards? Does anyone else feel that those photographs makes the Army and US government look bad? Or does war justify this?
