Really now, how important is high school?

I’m young right now and still attending high school, I use to excel in school, but not so much anymore, not much at all. Well I just wanna know, from real people with good careers, as long as i graduate, does it really matter how well my grades were?? Honestly. If I go to a Junior College then transfer to a university….?
