I used to work for a Caucasian judicial officer for 2 1/2 years and every time we were ready to begin a trial with a jury he would lecture me how I needed to respect the attorney’s in the case. I always treated them with respect I have nothing against attorneys. The J.O. would give me so much crap and I was the nicest one of his staff but I was always the one who got the lecture. His baliff and judicial assistant, who are also caucasian, would talk back at him in front of attorneys with no respect. I have been told by many attorneys that I was the nicest and the only one willing to help in that division. Is it me or did he just not like me?
