John-S30515ParticipantHow do defense attorneys who help clients they knew were guilty live with that? Especially in cases in which they knew, for example, that the person had molested a child?

Jessica30654ParticipantDefense lawyers swear to uphold the laws of the country and to protect the rights of their clients. No matter their personal opinion and feelings, their duties rest only in ensuring their clients receive fair and just treatment from the courts. As much as their clients’ crimes might disgust us, a person is still innocent until convicted, and lawyers (should) protect that right – for everyone.
