I’m not sure what you find annoying about the phrase “good for you”. In what context have you heard it used? When it’s used sarcastically, yes, it’s annoying. However, if somebody is complimenting you on a job well done and they say, “good for you”, it just means “I’m proud of you” or “You go, girl”. Just Curious
