Why is this even a debate? Do people even remember that evolution wasn’t taught in school until the 60’s? Why do they insist on teaching evolution in school as though it’s some sort of fact, instead of what it really is? It is a secular religion, that promotes death instead of life. It’s funny that people like Hitler, Marx, and Stalin promoted evolution. I mean after all the title of Darwin’s book was “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of ‘Favoured Races’ in the Struggle for Life.” Of course you never learn that in school. The idea that there are favored races. Has anyone actually looked into these things? It’s a really funny and sad fact that the bible has predicted this would happen: “(Man) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen”(Romans 1:25). That is pretty concise. People can believe what they like, but it will be up to their creator what happens to them in the end. If you want more information regarding fallacies in the “theory” of evolution, look up Lee Stobel’s, “Case for a Creator” on google, Kent Hovind’s Creation Seminars, or ppsimmons channel on YouTube.

It is hard for me to believe that you don’t even consider the issue debateable. A “secular religion”? I like this definition of secular- “Worldly rather than spiritual”. In trying to understand where we came from– and where we’re going, I believe many of the evolutionary theories make sense. And I would hope you would not dismiss it just because it is new in the schools. (With all you know of web innovations in the last couple decades, I would expect you to be open to new developments.) I am in awe of the work of the creator, God. But I see every day that he makes miraculous creations through natural means. I worship the creator. If you thought this was a topic for debate, maybe you would read listen to Barbara King’s lecture series: http://www.teach12.com/storex/professor.aspx?id=205 and I would check out Lee Stobel, Kent Hovind, and ppsimmons on YouTube.

I don’t know where you get your ideas. Must be religious indoctrination because it sure isn’t science. The vast majority of scientists – with college degrees – have accepted Evolutionary Theory for decades. Darwin’s theory of evolution and natural seclection have repeatedly been proved with findings in a variety of sciences, incl biology, genetics, paleontology, archeology, and many others. Just Curious
